Bromyard Speed Festival exists to celebrate cars, motorsport and the community that makes Bromyard such a special place.
The festival is organised by Bromyard Speed Festival CIC, a not-for-profit Community Interest Company. Any surplus from our events is reinvested into future festivals or distributed to local charities and community organisations.
Since the festival began in 2016, the events have also helped generate significant economic benefit for the town, bringing visitors to Bromyard and supporting local businesses. Alongside this wider impact, the festival has donated more than £20,000 to local charities and community groups.
Supporting Bromyard and the Local Community
We believe the festival should benefit the town that hosts it. Over the years we have supported a range of local good causes and community initiatives.
Examples include:
- Bromyard Christmas Lights – helping bring festive cheer to the town centre each winter
- Local food bank initiatives, including donations to Bromyard food charities
- Community groups and volunteer organisations that support local residents
- Local fundraising efforts connected with festival activities and raffles
These organisations and volunteers work hard all year round to make Bromyard a welcoming and vibrant place to live and visit.
A Festival for the Town
Bromyard Speed Festival is built by the community.
The event relies on:
- volunteers who help run the festival
- local businesses who sponsor and support it
- landowners and residents who host the event
- drivers and enthusiasts who bring incredible vehicles to share with the public
By attending the festival, entering a vehicle, volunteering, or supporting our sponsors, you are helping us continue to support local good causes.
Helping Good Causes Through Events
Many of our activities throughout the year contribute to fundraising and community support, including:
- car meets and breakfast gatherings
- scenic tours through the Herefordshire countryside
- the Bromyard hill climb festival
- raffles, auctions and charity initiatives connected with the events
These gatherings are about more than cars – they help bring people together and support the community that makes the festival possible.
