Disabled Parking – FREE
About 20 parking spaces for disabled drivers will be available at the Nunwell Surgery on Pump Street which is just between the A44 Bromyard Bypass and the main street where the event is taking place.
Only cars with current Blue Badges will be allowed on this car park. Once all spaces are taken stewards will do their best to point you to alternative locations but there is no certainty there will be anything else suitable. Please arrive in good time for the best chance of securing a place.
Please do not attempt to park on the highways around the town. Such spaces as there are, are reserved for residents who support the festival in a grand way and do not deserve to be obstructed or otherwise inconvenienced by inconsiderate visitors.
Police and traffic wardens will be prominent at the event and will deal with any cases of illegal or obstructive parking. You have been warned!
The good news is that the festival organisers have been able to provide 6 parking zones, with up to 3000 parking spaces available. There will be a fee of £5 per vehicle. Please have the correct money available when entering the parking zone.
Zone B on Porthouse Industrial Estate is an easy walk from the town centre. Zone C at Bromyard Town Football Club is also within walking distance but is a grassed field so its use may be restricted in wet weather.
Zones A, D and E are within 15-20 minutes walk for the energetic but will also be served by free shuttle buses. Zone F is a couple of miles out of town and will be served by shuttle buses.
Buses will start running at 9.00 am and continue throughout the day with the last bus returning at 6.00 pm. The drop off and pick up point at the town end will be on the A44 bypass near the surgery and just a short walk into the town along level road. There will also be a free minibus service running from the car parks on the northern edge of the town to and from the Tenbury Road by the Co-op.
All car parking has been made available by the kind permission of the landowners and we would ask you to respect their generosity and take all your rubbish home with you or deposit any rubbish in bins provided at each car park. Without their support, there could be no Bromyard Speed Festival.
